What We Do
Crown
A crown covers the entirety of your tooth above the gumline, and once sealed in place, it feels and functions just like a natural tooth. Depending on the material, your crown can even look just like a natural tooth, as well.
Gentle Breeze Family Dentistry uses CAD CAM technology that creates metal free crowns.
Metal-Free Crowns! As metal-free crowns are made from substances like glass, quartz, and resin, it is now possible to make them, so they appear more natural and more like other teeth. This is because the enamel on teeth has a translucent quality that can be closely mimicked with these newer materials. In addition, metal-free crowns are of the same approximate strength as a person’s natural teeth, which means they will not wear natural teeth down, which ultimately keeps a patient’s bite symmetrical and even. Metal-free crowns are also more economical, and since metal is a conductor and the newer materials are not, metal-free crowns bring reduced sensitivity to heat and cold, where some patients with traditional metal crowns report pain from hot or cold beverages.
Crowns are necessary when:
- Protecting weakened teeth from further damage
- Restoring teeth that suffer from severe decay
- Improving shape, size, position, function, color of unsightly teeth
- With the help of Gentle Breeze Family Dentistry you can improve your ability to properly eat and speak, in addition to making your smile whole and healthy.
Dental Implants
Dental implants are one of the most technologically advanced ways to replace missing teeth.
As Dr. Orr says, “Dental implants are the best substitution for no teeth”.
Dental implants are incredibly sturdy for restorations like crowns, bridges, or retention for dentures.
During your personal consultation with Dr. Orr, together you’ll discuss the options as to what specialist places the implant. Dr. Orr will use your vision of your new smile to complete the treatment.

Gum Disease
Defeat Gum Disease Painlessly – The main cause for tooth loss is NOT decay – it’s periodontal (gum) disease! Dr. Orr is pleased to offer her patients a powerful weapon in the ‑fight against gum disease. ARESTIN® kills the bacteria that cause gum disease. It’s a powder that contains very tiny microspheres that deliver a time-released antibiotic directly to the site of the infection. And the best part – it’s painless
Dentures
There are two main types of dentures:
Complete dentures replace all the teeth in your mouth. They attach over your gums on your top or bottom arch and are held in place by natural suction.
Removable Partial Dentures are used to replace teeth in your smile when you still have healthy natural teeth that you want to hold on to.
The base of a partial denture fits over the sections of your gums where you’re missing teeth and opens in the spots where you still have teeth, allowing your natural and artificial teeth to work side-by-side.
