Dental Veneers Process
The first step is a consultation with Dr. Orr to see if dental veneers are the right solution. Once you and Dr. Orr decide to move forward, she will meticulously craft a thin sheet of porcelain into the shape needed for your tooth or teeth that are receiving the treatment. Once the veneer is ready, a small amount of enamel will be removed from the front of the tooth where the veneer will then be bonded. The end result will be a natural look and feel with your new smile you can feel confident showing to everyone around you.

Dental Veneers FAQ
Who should get veneers?
If you have severely discolored, chipped, or cracked teeth, veneers can dramatically transform the appearance of your teeth. Porcelain veneers are a popular solution for achieving your perfect smile. However, we won’t know for sure if you’re a good candidate until you visit our office for a consultation.
Are veneers permanent?
To ensure your veneers fit properly and blend in with your smile, we have to remove a portion of enamel from your teeth. Once your teeth are prepared for the veneers, the process is irreversible. Before you begin the veneers procedure, Dr. Orr will go over your cosmetic options and help you decide if veneers are right for you.
How long do veneers last?
Your porcelain teeth can last anywhere from seven to 20 years depending on how well you take care of them. If your veneer comes off or chips, our skilled team can repair or replace it.
Do veneers stain?
One of the major advantages of porcelain veneers is that they’re incredibly stain resistant. The porcelain material won’t become discolored over time like your existing teeth do.
Do veneers prevent cavities?
Just like your natural teeth, veneers are also susceptible to cavities and tooth decay. When you get veneers, it’s important to maintain good dental health habits by brushing and flossing regularly. Don’t forget to attend regular dental check-ups to keep your veneers clean.
